Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, invests in farmland in Alibaug for 9.5 crore.

Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, has recently acquired a scenic farm in Thal village, Alibaug, near Mumbai, Maharashtra, for a reported Rs.9.5 crore, according to documents accessed by IndexTap.com. The transaction, dated February 13, 2024, involves a stamp duty payment of Rs.57 lakh for the 78,361 square feet plot situated in Raigad, Alibaug.

In addition to this recent acquisition, Suhana had previously invested in a 1.5-acre agricultural plot in Alibaug's Raigad district for Rs.12.91 crore last June. Thal village, which is just a short 12-minute drive from Alibaug town, is home to several celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, who is said to own a sea-facing property complete with a swimming pool and helipad.

Many prominent figures, such as Navin Agarwal of Vedanta Resources, Gautam Singhania of Raymonds, and others, also own luxurious bungalows in the area. These properties, ranging from one to ten acres, are valued between Rs.8 crore and Rs.70 crore, depending on their location.

Alibaug's connectivity has seen significant improvements with the introduction of Ro-Ro and speed boats connecting Mumbai. Additionally, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link sea bridge, which links Sewri to Nhava Sheva, has further enhanced road connectivity to Alibaug.
